Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all clients and users of DLX Solutions Group services. By using our services, you agree to this AUP. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of service.
1. Permitted Uses
The DLX AI Receptionist service is designed for legitimate inbound call handling for business purposes, including:
- Capturing missed call enquiries from existing or potential customers
- Answering basic frequently asked questions about your business
- Delivering lead summaries to business owners for prompt follow-up
- After-hours and overflow call management for legitimate businesses
2. Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Service to:
2.1 Illegal activity
- Engage in any activity that is unlawful under UK law or the laws of any jurisdiction in which you operate
- Facilitate fraud, deception, or misleading representations to callers
- Collect payment card numbers, bank account details, or financial credentials from callers
- Operate in connection with unlicensed financial services, investment schemes, or activities requiring regulatory authorisation that you do not hold
2.2 Telephone misuse
- Use the Service for outbound spam calling, robocalling, or nuisance calls
- Generate or route calls for the purpose of revenue share fraud ("traffic pumping")
- Configure the system to harvest caller data for purposes other than responding to the caller's enquiry
- Pretend to be a different business or organisation to callers
2.3 Harmful or sensitive categories
- Use the Service in connection with businesses in the following sectors without DLX's prior written approval: adult content, gambling, debt collection, payday lending, pharmaceutical sales, or any sector DLX deems unsuitable at its discretion
- Configure the AI to collect sensitive personal data including health information, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, political views, or criminal history
- Advertise or use the Service as an emergency response service
2.4 Abuse of the system
- Attempt to exploit, circumvent, or reverse-engineer any aspect of the Service
- Attempt to manipulate lead counts or billing through artificial call traffic
- Share access credentials with unauthorised parties
- Harass, threaten, or abuse any DLX employee or representative
2.5 Misrepresentation
- Represent the AI as a human to callers who sincerely ask whether they are speaking to a human or a machine
- Misrepresent the scope or nature of the service to callers (e.g. claiming the AI can book appointments when it cannot)
3. Call Recording Obligations
DLX plays a call recording disclaimer at the start of every call. This is a mandatory feature and cannot be disabled. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:
- Callers will always be informed that the call may be recorded
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of recorded call data complies with applicable law
- You will not attempt to disable or circumvent the recording disclaimer
4. Data Protection Obligations
You are the data controller for caller data delivered by the Service. You must:
- Use caller data only for the purpose of following up on the enquiry and managing the business relationship
- Not share, sell, or further process caller data in ways that are incompatible with the purpose for which it was collected
- Comply with UK GDPR and any other applicable data protection law
- Respond appropriately to any data subject rights requests from callers
5. Restricted Industries
DLX does not accept clients operating in the following sectors without prior written approval:
- Adult content or services
- Gambling (unless licensed by the Gambling Commission)
- Payday lending, logbook loans, or high-cost short-term credit
- Debt collection agencies
- Pharmaceuticals or controlled substances
- Pyramid selling or multi-level marketing
- Any activity that is unlawful in England and Wales
6. Enforcement
DLX reserves the right to:
- Immediately suspend the Service if we reasonably suspect a breach of this AUP
- Terminate the Service agreement with immediate effect for serious or repeated violations
- Report unlawful activity to relevant authorities (Ofcom, ICO, police) where required
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations
Any outstanding fees remain payable following suspension or termination due to AUP violation.
7. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of misuse of the DLX platform, or if you are a caller who has received an unwanted or abusive call via our service, please contact us:

8. Changes to This Policy
DLX may update this AUP from time to time. Existing clients will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any updated AUP.
